Overview
Card Packs for Streamers ("Card Packs", "we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of streamers and viewers who use our platform. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. By using Card Packs, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Information We Collect
Account & Platform Identity
When you log in via Twitch or Kick, we receive and store your platform username, display name, and numeric platform user ID via OAuth. We store OAuth access and refresh tokens to enable server-side integration with platform APIs (e.g., receiving EventSub webhook events from Twitch). We do not receive or store your password for any platform.
Collection & Activity Data
We store the cards in your collection, your pack history, and trade activity. For streamers, we log award events (subs, bits, gifts, follows, channel point redemptions) that trigger pack awards, including the viewer username, event type, and timestamp.
Uploaded Content
Streamers may upload card artwork and card back images, which are stored on our servers. We do not examine uploaded images beyond automated storage.
Technical Information
Our web server logs standard access information including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited. This information is used for security monitoring and is not linked to your platform account.
How We Use Your Information
- •To operate the platform: display your collection, process trades, and award packs.
- •To receive real-time events from Twitch and Kick on your behalf (EventSub webhooks).
- •To maintain your session and keep you logged in across visits.
- •To allow other viewers to see your username and card collection within the platform.
- •To diagnose issues and improve the service.
What We Do Not Do
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share your information with any party outside of the platform integrations required to operate the service (Twitch and Kick APIs).
Data Retention
Your account data and collection are retained for as long as your account is active on the platform. Event log data is retained for operational purposes. If you wish to have your data deleted, contact us at the address below and we will remove your account and associated data.
Third-Party Services
Card Packs integrates with Twitch and Kick for authentication and event handling. Your use of those platforms is governed by their respective privacy policies. We are not affiliated with Twitch Interactive, Inc. or Kick.com beyond the use of their public APIs.
